Caribbean Village Agador, Agadir. Stayed March 07. I was a little apprehensive about staying at this complex after reading some reviews on other websites (after I had booked, of course) but they must have been reviewing a different property as I couldn't fault anything. The rooms looked as if they had just been refurbished (so maybe that was why the reviews I had read were so bad) and the service was second to none. There are five pools (three of which are heated during winter) and the pool side entertainment staff were just brilliant. You could join in if you wanted to or if you said no they didn't bother you again. The food was also excellent with a wide selection on offer. There is a theatre for nightly entertainment and we enjoyed some great shows put on by the animation on team. We loved the place and will return. Review rating 4 out of 5 (Ed's note: We have had 5 reviews on the Caribbean Village and three gave it 5, one gave it 4 but one person gave it just 2).

Sofitel, Agadir. Stayed May 06. One word can describe my thoughts on the Sofitel and that's "great". We had a great time here as everything was 5-star right down to sunbeds by the pool as they must be the most comfortable I've ever laid on. The rooms were as you would expect and the choice of restaurants was also great with a varied menu to suit even a fussy eater like my wife. The hotel had its own nightclub which hosted some great shows every night followed by some great western music to dance the night away. Couldn't find a thing wrong so spoil yourselves and try it. Reviewer rating 5 out of 5.
