Mango Bay. Stayed June 06. The hotel is in a great location for shops, bars, restaurants close by. The hotel has been refurbished and now offers a choice of standard, superior, deluxe and ocean view rooms. The rooms are furnished to a very high standard and you really fell comfortable in them. The meals served in the restaurant are to be highly recommended with a wide choice everyday. The hotel is directly on the beach and have free sunbeds and parasols available. I found the hotel and its employees to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. Reviewers rating: 5 out of 5.

Almond Beach Village, Barbados. Stayed August 06. Spent one very enjoyable week here in August. Quite a distance from Bridgetown and St. Lawrence Gap. I would recommend it to families. The south side of the hotel is geared up for families with a crèche, childrens club and playground. Restaurants at the hotel were very good especially the Italian (adults only!). Breakfasts were excellent. Hotel and grounds were very well kept. The only minor thing that perhaps didn't make it as good as it could have been was the fact that there are no private beaches allowed pn Barbados and the locals gather to pester and loiter on the beach which is also used by guests. Reviewers rating: 4 out of 5.
